Default Jaycar amp: Class AB or Digital?

hey, im looking at getting a jaycar amp soon (links below) they will be for powering 6.5" Alpine Type R splits which are 110 rms, in the future ill also get some rear shelf speakers to hook up to the amp, so anyone which is going to be better to run these speakers off Digital or Class AB? they are both 4x100 RMS, the digital is $70 more, also where will the best place be to mount these amps? are they best under a seat or mounted in the boot? i wont be doing the install myself. Cheers

If you're limited in space, and want the most power from a smaller amp, then yes, get digital.

If you've got room for a larger class AB amp, then go for that!

the digital amp will draw less power to give the same power output, advantage? well, I guess if you have a small alternator or battery, then maybe?

other wise, there's not much point.

if it was the same price, then yeah, maybe get the digital amp.

I have the old silver 4x100watt ReSponse amp "under" the seat of my ford laser, you should be able to fit one in a commodore, but I don't have a commodore, and don't know how the dimensions of the new/old amps compare.
