Hey so ive had my car for like 3 months and only just realised today my front right and rear right speakers make no sound (nothing to do with headunit settings, fade etc..) would they just be blown or something dodgy in the wiring, do take the door speaker grille off i need to remove the whole door trim etc.. yea? dont know if they would be blown, something wrong with wiring or not there at all. i have a set of type r splits what will be getting installed when i can be bothered getting it done, so im just hoping there wont be any problems with wiring when it comes time to install these new speakers?
ok, whats that mean? and will this have to be fixed when i go to put my new speakers in?
If you really care about it you will pull the car apart and search for the fault. Take the door trims off, trace the wire and look for any damage. My two guesses are the loom is damaged or the balance setting is set to the left (or a negative value from memory). If it's the wiring it is as simple as laying new wiring.
You'll most likely have broken wires in the little rubber flexy things between your doors and door jams. Had the same with mine.
hmm i guess len day on moorabool street can fix that for me while they're installing my speakers and amp as i wouldnt have a clue what to do when it comes to wiring etc.. seeing your from geelong too would you say len day are one of the best for installs? dont know if i trust going to JB lol.
