New amp for VX Calais subs

Okay so I've been persuaded to get a new amp for my rear parcel shelf subs. This said, what should I go for? 400w 4 channel amp? Can I run the subs off 2 channels, then run the front speakers off the other 2 (for more kick?). Is it really worth it and will it work properly? Seeing as the stock subs are 50w, I don't want them to rip to shreds.

Whats the wattage and impedance of the front speakers? And subs while I ask (I know subs are 50w, I think their 8Ohm?)

Your wasting your money amping those factory subs. They're rubbish. Save a bit more coin and buy a pair of 12's as well.

Yeah was going to get 12's when I get more coin, I just heard that a new amp would actually improve quality. But that said, I'll save for the 12's. My problem is I'll only buy Alpine V.V
