What speakers for VY ute ?

Howdy fellow Aussies, Im looking at upgrading the stock door speakers in my VY ute ? Any recommendations ? Also, would these sound louder the the originals ? The stock ones sound crap and dont have much power to them or would this be because of the head unit ?

You got a budget mate?
Replacement speakers will go louder while also being clearer than the stock speakers. The head unit is a bottleneck, however you can keep it and use the replacement speakers on their own.

Try JarCar for quality sound. A nice set of Vifa splits will have you in bliss. One step down from those Response Kevlar series. They are awesome too. One down from those are the Response polycones. They are awesome for a budget. Apart from the head unit, my whole system's from JayCar and it rocks...!!! Im running splits in the front and 6 x 9s in the rear on a 4x50wrms Response amp and its awesome. I did the budget option because I had the amp already and just matched the speakers to it, but my previous sedan had Vifa splits in the front, Kevlar 6x9s in the rear on a 4x100wrms amp.... and H O L Y C R A P was the sound awesome...!!
