    Does that include install ?

6" splits , 6" coax for rear doors off deck and a 4 channel amp to run a single 12" and splits will be a grand by itself without fitting.

What do you wish to achieve, do you want a system that has sound quality or just loud noises?
Also, what is the model number of the headunit?

The Stage 2 EQ7 is a powerful equalizer with 7 bands of adjustment and 8 tone curves that can give the listener the best musical experience possible.

    Personalized Audio Playback

Sony has introduced a new way to listen to music in the car with the SensMe intuitive music application in the XAV-60. This advanced music analysis tool plays the music from your iPod or Walkman based on mood, type, style, and time. By displaying all your songs on a grid with particular criteria, the user can easily select songs that are according to how they are feeling. The more songs on the iPod or Walkman, the greater the variety of songs that fit your mood. Using the gesture commands on the main touch screen, selecting the type of music is fast and simple. Never again do you have to worry about the painstaking process of creating a different play list for each of your moods. Let the Sony XAV-60 do the hard part by playing the songs that you feel like listening to. The smart and intelligent SensMe application will become your personal DJ.

James. If you just want speakers you should go to car audio execellence in penrith. They will do you a deal where they install:
Fusion powerplant splits in the front,
Fusion powerplant 6x9s in the rear,
    Fusion A/B amp that puts out 110rms x 4 @ 4ohm
4 gauge wiring kit from battery to amp
Headunit wiring rcas + remote wire to the back
They also run new speaker wire to every speaker

They will do all that for about a $1000. They will provide enough bass for you until you get a monoblock and subs further down the track.

At the $1000 limit all you'll get is your standard Alpine/Fusion/Pioneer?Bigbrandpayforthenamecrap.

    Orrrr you could get this:

    Morel Maximo 6" splits - $229
    Clarion XH5410 4ch amp / Option Audio OAC160 - ~$350
    Aerpro 4 gauge wiring kit - $80
    Dynamatt Door Kit - $100

That leaves you at ~$760 with ~$240 to spare. Save up another ~$400 after that and invest it into a nice subwoofer like the Polk MM1240 DVC and a monoblock amp like the Option Audio OAK600.

This will overall be a much more crisp, clear, dynamic and better sounding system for the money. If you really really have to, you can throw in some coaxials into the rear doors.

I would take the above system over the Fusion system that juzzyx recommended any day of the week.
