    Default Sub Wiring Stable

    Hey guys,
I was wondering if someone can tell me how to Wire my 2x dvc 4ohm subs down to 2ohms at the amp,
I am Running a Rubicon 1002 Sound stream amp and the subs i am using are 600RMS so I really need the amp putting 1000w into them
Until I get a bigger Amp..

cheers in advance for your help..

Not going to happen mate, you will either have 4-ohms or 1-ohm.

As said, it can't be done.

Coils in series & subs in parallel is 4 ohm overall.
Coils in parallel & subs in parallel is 1 ohm overall.

The only way to get 2 ohm is to use ONE sub with the coils wired in parallel.

In the manual I found for that amp it is rated as follows:

    400W bridged @ 8ohm
    1000W bridged @ 4ohm
    1000W bridged @ 2ohm

Wire coils in series and subs in parallel to produce 4ohm as follows:
