    lol its at 100hz, i could afford to i suppose because they are cranked up to full (faded the Hu to rear)but they are still drowned out by the amped front speakers
    My ride-VS commo, Just finishing the manual conversion. Working out those annoying bits!

    nothing, if they were any louder they would distort. but you can still here them a bit and rear seat passengers will hear them.

    Frequency response is usually rated as the two points where the response drops by 3dB from the peak of the frequency response.

    nah, a lot of cheap speakers will give a response at like +-10dB!?!?

    Got it all sorted!

    I downloaded a sine wave generator and set the tone at 90Hz then wound the knob till I heard the tone just drop off, so it will be at about 100Hz.

    I found it quite fun mucking around playing my system at different tones. subs at 20Hz look cool

    I just had a though I could find out what frequency the car body resonates at. my Ute was terrible, It was a woom woom woom noise.
