Modding factory DVD headunits

hi all,

got a VE Calais Sportwagon and want to know how I can modify the front headunit so it plays the screen while the vehicle is moving.

im guessing its something with a speed sensor as the car has to be at 0kmh to work. I thought it was the handbrake but it works even with it being down.

has anyone modded them?

Hey mate, it has nothing to do with the actual DVD player or audio system, it's controlled by software.. All you need to do is remove the VIM (video in motion) and it will work..

Hey mate, it has nothing to do with the actual DVD player or audio system, it's controlled by software.. All you need to do is remove the VIM (video in motion) and it will work..
