depends what subs they are, could be burned in from the factory mate, best to read the manual about that

but as for cds, get MOS The Annual 2012, but not Australias one, get UKs, it has a black and purple cover. the aussie version is good but filled with songs that the radio killed haha

Be kind to them for the first little while, especially first few songs.

    flat out or nothing.

the whole "running in" thing doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

yes, the spider will be stiffer from new, but not by much, the damage you could potentially do to a sub is to rip the spider, but if that happens, it means the sub was poorly made to begin with anyway!

They say 8 hours, I agree with Aj, but I just listen to what the experts tell me.

    Fkn LoL...

While the woofers are new, Let them warm up before seeking excursion...

8hours before you push them? That's like saying no sex until the 8th date...

Install woofers, If box is ported, Run a generated tone to the frequency the box is tuned at or if sealed run a 40hz tone on a low volume for a couple minutes an you'll be right..

    Cheers

when they said 8hours, its was 8 hours of thrashing them. you can still crank them up.

Subs don't weld themselves, whoever had control of the volume knob welded it

Aye. I overpowered my Kicker Comps as soon as I got them. I wanted to see how loud they got, No worries lol. I did notice they got a bit louder over the next couple of days. I wasn't pumping them for hours at a time mind you. Mabey only a minute or 2 of a song.
