Vr statesman caprice front door speakers
Hi guys time has come to upgrade stereo system I bought 2 sets of soundstream 6.5 splits rears are in but I can't get the fronts to sit properly, they seam not to hit on the back of the plastic pod but some where on the sides??? Sit out about 4mm how do I go about getting them to sit flush?? Can't find nothing on the site
Hey xcop.. Best thing to do is if the door has the plastic moulding under the door trim take the mould off and trim it the 4 or 5 ml you need to fit the speaker in.. Use a jigsaw and hacksaw blade will be easy to do.. Then drill pilot holes and mount the speaker..

I ended up using a drill with just a drill bit, and kept going around the pod, took under 10 mins a side and fits perfect, and managed not to damage the pod in any way

and if you delete the photo from facebook then it shows a cross ^ so its better to use imgur: the simple image sharer or TinyPic - Free Image Hosting, Photo Sharing & Video Hosting
