    Default Anyone tryed these?

Just saw these advertised at strathfield.
    http://www.strathfield.com/ViewProduct.asp?ProdID=1039
anyone know the RMS of these?

for that price i take it they arent great??

Also, Ive see the Pioneer 12" 400RMS subs for under $100.
Is this a good price? would it be smart to buy these while they are so cheap?

sorry bout all the questions, im new to all this.

    thanks

yeah go the boss because you will have a very dedicated support team (ray) to replace fried components.

Boss amps do not die or fry components. They arent the best but they do the job AND THEY ARE RELIABLE.

i love it how as soon as people ask about boss theres heaps of stunning reviews that follow something like "i had my boss amp for 1 day and it over heated 6 times and now doesnt turn on. is there something wrong with it?".
what does go wrong with the subs? or does the bass just sound like a muffled fart?

The spiders wear out and tear very easily, if you put near the power they say they handle the Tinsel leads start to burn out and then the sub stops working entirely. The suspension cracks or tears. On their earlier model with constant wet surrounds, the surround would dry out and then onegood bass hit and the cone would come flying out of the coil....

Just before I left Australia a friend asked me to drop an amp in her VL...she handed me this 4channel boss amp...I shuddered, hooked it up..and hey presto it went straight into protection mode. It didn't even burp.

I think cash converters only offers a 3 month warranty with brand new BOSS equipment they sell. Shows you how much confidence they have in the stuff.

serious. damn. that was a few years ago (about 3) when i first got a car i was looking at stuff at cash converters. the salesperson there said they used to offer 12 months with new BOSS stuff however they decided to make it 3 months like all the other stuff they sell or something like that.

i was a silly boy to even consider BOSS equipment
