Is porting ok in my set up???

hey people! ive been working on my VS for a while im only 17 years old and still on my P's tho... I have designed and almost completed a sub set up in the boot utilising the flip down middle seat. Ive used 2x 10 inch subs facin into the boot and have a housing for an xbox to face through the middle seat.
what i want to know is will porting the box through the gap left by the middle seat below the xbox work? im not sure that having the subs facing into the boot and the ports facing into the car will have any increased effectivness and if its worth it having them or not? ive included some pics of the half built unfinished box just incase its hard to understand what im going on about
oh yeah and any other suggestions are welcome

Well best guide to use is some subwoofers are designed for ported some for sealed and some for either.

You should be building a box to suit the subs you intend to use.
