Parcel Shelf Speakers for VTII

Hey guys,

Has anyone tried to put 6"9 speakers into the parcel shelf with the stock Head Unit? I know there are 4 speakers in the 4 doors. Is it easy like just putting them in or do you have to do any mods?

You will have to run wires and stuff. You will also need to get some speaker grills. Those oval shape things in the carpet don’t pop out. You have to replace the whole thing with something that has grills or cut holes in them. I cut holes in mine and threw and Australian flag over the whole lot. The metal plates blocking the holes should pop out.

Is there any possiblity to run all six speakers (two front doors, 2 rear doors and parcel shelf) from the stock H/U?

well....to do it properly is expensive.
it requires an amp.
