    Default Getting through VL Firewall?

    Hey

    I'm trying to install an amp in the VL but I cant get through the firewall.. that massive grommit doesnt move!

    Any ideas?

    to the right of the brake bosster there is a grmit on the fire wall, i just used a flat head screw driver and punched a hole thought it, there was a imprint there

    What size cable is that? It looks damn small.

    in the first pic the red cable (amp power) looks small coz the blue cable is in front off it,
    the amp cable is 12mm and the blue cable a earth cable 4 my HU, its 5mm high quality stuff. i got 4 free from my old mans work (full spindel bout 150meters)

    I generally tape the wire to a coathanger that I've stretched out and then push the coathanger though...it makes a nice hole that closes up over the wire and I'm through in less then 5 seconds in a VL.

    Same here, tho I used a long screw driver then pushed it thru the rubber and taped the cable to screwdriver in the cabin and then pulled the cable with screwdriver out.
