Kenwood TV Questions

Hi all. Just a bit of a question about the Kenwood 2 DIN TV unit
I have one of these and in the book it says that you can,
1. Hook in a gps to it to operate aff the touch screen, and
2. hook in a hands free to operate off the touch screen. (Can send sms messages/ make phone calls straight off the touch screen)

Has anyone had any experience doing this as I have been looking around for like a year and a half on info about it and haven't had much luck.
If I ask the guys in the shops about it they try and sell me a bloody in car computer worth like 3-5 grand and it only plugs in through rca's so you still need the computer to operate it all, (pointless to me).

If anyone has any info at all please let me know as I am keen to utilise all the features of this wonderful unit.

Have you asked Kenwood? That would be the first place i'd ask.

i have the kenwood double din multi media head unit, though i havent sussed out the navigation components u can buy for it. Its an awesome deck, got it on discount for 2 grand @ JB was last one as they just released new model, thats a grand off. But now the new model is out, which looks almost identical, and its RRP is $2000 !!! thank god i didnt pay full price.
