lol, dodgy! good lookin sub tho.
LOL Love the way the whole bootlid flexes like that.
And at the risk of being branded a little strange I can't help but ask why the hell anyone would want something that loud in their car?

No idea really, unless he's just got it for competitions.
I've been in cars with a bit of bass before and well, I can't stand too much. I'm actually pretty curious as to how he can sit in there and film. My head would explode.
what your seeing is the effects of about 2000wrms. The window is flexing because the sub is forcing the air upwards only 4 inches away from it. The same stands for the wiper blade. It's a common effect for hatchbacks. You commie boys won't know much about that :P
Everything flexes in a car at around 30Hz the opnly one I didn't believe was the tyres. The suspension theoretically should absorb vibration. YOu would need much more then an Xmas of 75 to shake a tyre.
You put you left foot in, your put your right foot in , you take your left foot out and you slide it all about!
I have never really been after SPL, but my first VH wagon and second Pulsar sedan flexed so much they'd knock a can of drink over when it was sitting on the roof. I found out by accident both times... When the can rolled down the windscreen while demoing to a friend.
Jesus.. Im sure that isnt good for your internal organs
with a bit of stick mine will move the bootlid to the point it will bounce a tennis ball. great party trick!
my bootlid also doesnt seal very well when my subs are having a real go...
i love it, i can understand why some people wouldnt though.
lol, Stone, I remember with my old Subaru wagon some dumbarse teenager put her brand new digi camera on my roof.
I hit the remote start and all was good until the chemical brothers did a bass drop!
Lesson....Always watch who has put stuff on your car. Accept no responsibilty for any damages done.
You put you left foot in, your put your right foot in , you take your left foot out and you slide it all about!
lol i give that car less than 30mins to rattle all the bolts out, shatter all the glass and fall to pieces
im not admiring your car im looking in disgust
check out this d***, pretty funny tho

hahaha thats hectic that bass video!! my crappy computer speakers cant even handle the bass lol
^^^ Actually the problem is the original recording. the mic on the video camera couldn't capture the sound properly because of the volume.
Gravity is proof that nature keeps getting us down.
oh k fair enough lol
but they gotta sound twice as 5hit on mine![]()
ouch. just a bit overkill imho. the wiper blade bouncing was pretty funny though, too bad if you were trying to use it in the rain
attn Über geeks, i play Second life. Patrio Graysmark.

Seen this one? Some swedish? chick sits in a car while they test out some audio gear.
The very existance of flamethrowers proves that sometime, somewhere, someone said to themselves, 'You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to do it.
"It was really loud, Extremely Loud" Well...no shit. I wonder where the subs or ports were to make her hair do that though. Fairly cool effect.

I just remember the old MTX Jackhammer. man that would be nuts:

Had it on Pimp My Ride a while back.. I still might have the video clip of that..
HAHA i seen that on PIMP MY RIDE to but when they cranked it they where making like 130 db to be honest i did expect more lol...
That link didn't work for me, this did though.
I had my 91 Galant VR4 windshield crack from corner to corner, during a remote control bass test at 147db it cracked with 2 MTX 15" in a single reflex box, Epi-Center bass restoration cranked up and 2 - V12 Alpine amps driving them . and lost a lot of tail light bulbs from extreme vibration until sound deadener applied to the housings.
I've created a few beast systems with 4 Rockford Fosgate Power 1000's driving 8 Rockford 18" in a van which created some stress damage to the vans spot welds for a show truck. and 4 Rockford 10" in custom built tubes with 1400 watts driving them you could make a pair of fuzzy dice dance like a yo-yo hanging from the rear view mirror...
I know I heard of some other stories of metal being ripped open from the 170db shockwave at 18hz does anyone have photos by chance ?
FARK ME!!!! i wanna drive thro a car park with 1 of those![]()
Take it through Drive-thru at maccas, smash all the windows as you drive off.
Gravity is proof that nature keeps getting us down.
I put in my 2 JL Audio 12"ers and JL 1000w amp in yesterday, passenger rear door shuddered, all windows flexed, fluffy dice were doing their little dance, couldn't see jack through rearview mirror, brain started hurting so I left her on and popped inside for a drink, walk through the loungeroom and the walls and windows are rattling, get into the kitchen (a good 25m away from the car in the driveway) and I hear plates on the sink rattling.
It was beautiful, just needa get the car roadworthy and I'm off (I now have a small box in the boot worth more than the car).
I don't use windscreen wipers, i just use the superior handling of the STI to dodge the rain drops.
hahha its a plan.....go thro drive thro on a friday night get told 2 wait the go aww ffs Fu<K U then put on the subsOriginally Posted by mouce
that will teach maccas for telling ya 2 park
