Who here has both of...
a) an incar DVD player with iPod connection
and
b) an iPod Video?
If so, with the appropriate connectors - are you able to watch your videos stored on the iPod via the DVD screen?
Just re-read question:
Some cars with a stock dvd player (ie roof mount) have auxilery inputs, you could play an ipod through those. An actual ipod compatible dvd player i think is a different story though
I am talking about a quality aftermarket multimedia system (like this http://www.clarion.com.au/prod_VRX756VD.htm or even http://www.jvc-australia.com/product...ls.asp?ID=1399) which has an iPod connector that allows you to connect and possibly control your iPod through the system. Can you show your iPod video though these systems?

As for controlling the video - this is not yet possible in the iPod. The protocol to talk to the iPod to change video's is not yet supported bu should be very shortly as Apple keep piling in features every 3 months.
