If you bought the 5750MP, you would have got the extra RCA for subwoofer outBass boost is not a way of turning your sub up, it only boosts a certain frequency range which isn't the whole range that your sub would be playing.
Do you have an amp on your speakers?
ok
no amp on speakers
what i mean is the sub is hooked up but the headunit has no sub control
I don't have the 4750MP manual here but I just looked at the US model the 470MP and it says that you you can do the following: (Hopefully these two models are very similar)
- Turn head unit off
- Press and HOLD function button until the clock appears
- Press function until "R-SP:FUL" appears.
- You want to keep "R-SP:FUL", but you want to make "P/O:S/W". You change by pressing the side or up and down buttons. This is setting the internal amp to output full sound to the speakers and turning the subwoofer options on in the head unit.
- Turn head unit on.
- Go into AUDIO menu, go to the "NONFAD" option and turn it on.
- Now you should have a "NONFAD:0" setting that you can press the up and down buttons to adjust the volume for the sub.
I just found out that your's has one RCA, the 470MP has 2 RCA's so your's probably won't have those options... If not, you can do the following...
Put one of these in line with your RCA's. You will need to re-set your gains once you have though.
so wot ur saying is because i dont have sub control on my headunit
buy one of these thingys from jay car (and where else can u get them from)
and then i can turn my sub up and down?
