Installing amp+sub in VX

Whats the best way to run the RCA and the amp wiring in a VX?

Ive just started to pull off the door panels to run it down the sides, I noticed the battery is on the right so should I run the active down the driver side under the kickboard panels. Is there a hole in the firewall there I can poke it though?

Power usually down the driver side in a VT/VX. If you have an auto, use the clutch grommet to go through firewall.

RCA's down the passenger side or down the middle.

to get to the clutch grommet do I have to move carpet or is it up under the dash?

no sure where the clutch grommet is as i couldnt find it in my car(vs) but i found one thats behind the brake booster which is probebly easier to access than the clutch grommet, it comes in down behind the fuse box area, just put a straightened out coathanger down there to find out xactly where it come to

Yep, got the cable down through some sort of grommet that was there :P

All in and ran through the kickboard panels into the boot.

Sounds like you've already done it... But anyway, the inside side of the grommet was behind carpet and some weird thick deadening material. It just pulled away easily to expose the grommet.
