CD player plays no sound

Just bought a VT and there was no sound when playing the CD. I know that the CD is playing as the counter display on the panel is ticking. Radio and Cassette work perfect. Has anyone experience this on their vehicle before and advise on how to fix it.

daica. First off I would pull the CD Playeer out and check to see if the speakers are actually connected. THere is a chence that the previous owner had another Cd Player in there that was connected to amps and that they didn't reconnect the speakers.

It may be the cable that goes from the cd cartidge in your stereo to the control board.
