    Question rca leads to mp3 head phone jack

    hey i have these leads which i have discoverd which came with my mp3 player, they have the rca's on one end and on the other the audio lead which plugs in2 the head phone jack on ur mp3 player, just wondering if i plug this in2 my deck will it play the mp3 player through my car cd player

    it will work if you plug it into an aux in. But the RCA's at teh back of your HU are probably preOUTS. SO it wont. If theyre labelled AUX IN or simiular it will work. If you have one, plug the lead into into the 'line out' on your mp3 player, rather than the headphone jack. if you dont have one, and plug into the headphone jack, try to keep the volume on the mp3 quite low

    i am running my system like this at the moment my iriver is running though the aux leads in the back of my headunit it sounds really good

    i dont think that having to high an input signal is good for the amp. RCA's are supposed to be a low level signal

    okay that might explain why i was having problems when i got my new sub put in. audiotech replaced my amp free of charge and checked all the wiring until the system was running a1. a few people put s**t on them but they were great to me and did everything they could to make me happy with it. the few problems were earthing, and loose wires

    earthing and loose wires? Was that their fault?
