hey guys and gals, just wondering if anyone knew if alpine bought out a remote face h/u or if there is any way of remote mounting the face of an Alpine CDA9805?

Not a valid input....
they did...but it wasn't a CD Player, it was a multimedia centre that controlled your linelevel outputs. You still needed an Alpine CD Player.
I don't think you can remote mount the Alpine face as it all depended on resistance along the wires and switches. StoneX might be able to help you out more. He repairs h/u from memory.
You put you left foot in, your put your right foot in , you take your left foot out and you slide it all about!
