    Default What amp for splits??

Which amp is suitable to run a pair of alpine spr-175a splits in my ute?
Amp will be 2 channel as i have no intention of adding sub. Im not wanting to spend over $300.
Speakers are 200w peak, 50w rms.
    Thanks.

I would reccomend the Jaycar amp as well 2x80 but anything should do the trick but try to spend over 150.
You put you left foot in, your put your right foot in , you take your left foot out and you slide it all about!

If you want to stick with Alpine go with the MRV-T220 2 channel Amp for $199. It has 2x70W RMS and will easily do the job

this one is perfect. Thats what was been used in my VS ute to run splits. I took it out to hook up a 4Ch amp to run a sub aswell. Its as good as new.

So you would honestly recommend jaycar over popular brands like alpine, pioneer, ect?
Is there any sort of minimum power requirement I need to run the speakers?
Keep in mind im no expert at this, just want something a bit clearer and louder than stock system.
    Thanks for your help

I would reccomend the jaycar amp over all amps bar the topshelf models.
