Second hand fusion gear - tell me if this sounds worth it

Hey all,

I know someone who's selling a fusion sub setup which i'm considering buying for $800 which includes the following:

2 x Jonah Lomu 12" Subs - FJL-1211
1 x Jonah Lomu Amplifier - FJL-1211D
1 x 1.0 Farad Capacitor

All the equipment is second hand but in good condition, only a few very minor scratches, nothing mechanically wrong and was previously installed in the car of an ex-fusion dealer prior to a crash which rendered his vehicle unroadworthy. (None of the equipment was damaged). The equipment was installed for a time period of 5 months, and none of the cones are split or anything else which would hinder the performance of the subs.

I was just wanting an opinion from everyone on whether or not this is worth buying...

$500 MAX..I would even shudder paying $500. Sure the gear may be worth more then that....but thats why you are buying second hand

you talking US or Australian dollars 12 volt? I'm talking Australian Dollars... that and stuff is more expensive over here to buy new :P

ok man cool, i didn't know it had only been 6 months... i may have to take your advise and offer something more around the $500 mark then... oh well lets hope i can sort something out cheaper regardless being as i don't have a spare $3000 hanging round to buy it all new

P.S. thanks for the advise on the 6"s instead of 6x9's too

$800 is around wat the sub retails for anyways aye?
If it is, well my personal opinion would be to take it, but I aint no expert valuator :P lol

yeah the subs retail at around $800 each new... so $1600 and the amp retails at a bit under the $2000 mark new now i believe... capacitor isn't worth that much, can pick one up for $199 new if i really wanted to.
