I have a small Kenwood 2 channel amp in my car running my 6x9s. If i put another amp in to run my sub, would i need to run wires from the head unit to the amp again, or can i use the other amp to run wires to the new one? im pretty new to this stuff so i dont know alot, thanks.

if your h/u has a preout for subwoofers, id recommend running a new pair of RCA cables from the h/u to the monoblock amp jsut because itll sound better.
if your h/u doesnt have a sub preout, u can use the other rca cables but ull need a cable to split the rca's so u can connect them to the two amps.

If you use a splitter on the RCA’s make sure you filter out the high frequencies going to the sub.
