eliminating engine noise

hey guys im sorry this has probably been posted elsewhere but i cant find it. the problem is that when i go to power my rear 6 x 9 s off my amp i get the high pitched engine noise through the speakers consistent with the revs. i had cleaned the grounds / terminals i have no idea wats going on several of my mates are stumped to. has anyone had this problem or used a engine noise eliminator available from supercheap.

Where did you run the RCA cables for the amp? Where did you run the power cable for the amp?

kenwood deck, pioneer sub kenwood 6 x 9s i run my rcas from deck down left hand side and power from batt down right hand side no where near each other. the sound only comes in the rear 6 x 9s or wateva speakers i run of that signal out put of the amp. front ones are totally fine off amp. im so stumped.

Get yourself some in line filters. Make yourself a better earth and go from there.

You can also get noise supressors for your alternator if the in line filters don't help.
