Vx stereo going in soon BRANDS,setup HELP

Hey Guys will be gettin ready to do a install soon in my vx and was looking at gettin some info from you guys as to what you have done..

Whats a good brand/Model any DO's or Dont's and how to set it up so its looks good and sounds good?????


Was thinkin bout dvd/screen/cd/mp3/ player in the dash some splits in the front doors, replace rear door speakers and 2X 12" or 15" subs in the boot....
something for around $3000 or less

If you have pics of setups that would be good to look at

Any help you guys have would be great

Read some other topics... Do some searches... Check out other specific car audio forums... Everyone has different tastes and you'll get alot of people with very little knowledge recommending things like Fusion, Boss audio, etc or buying all one brand stereos.

You have the right idea though, front splits, rear speakers in doors, and some subs.

Also is it hard to install these in the dash is it hard to get the dash apart and mount the units

It depends how you want to mount it... You can use the metal cradle that comes with a new CD player, you can make up a bracket and screw it in without dismantling the dash, or you can completely dismantle the dash to screw it in from the sides.
