Default Shark fin aerial, similar to BMW's

Is there anything similar to the shark fin aerials that u see on BM's that is available or can be fitted to Commodores?
Or are the shark fins only applicable to Euro shitboxes?

be warned, they are NOT actual antennas. Just fake ones. Would match up well with a interior glass mount antenna

Not antennaes? Ohhh ripped off! I actually want to get rid of my aerial so that when I finally get around to respraying I can bog the hole. If I got some cable and coiled it up inside the roof, it would have the same effect, would it not? I understand the range may not be as far, but I'm not usually a radio person anyways

hmm, coil in roof will actually have no reception whatsoever, from what i know. as the roof being all metal and earth will stop radio waves from finding the antenna coil.

have you considered a rear window antenna? it goes around the edge of the window on the inside. supposed to be ok, but a lot more directional than a standard antenna, ie, radio waves have to be coming from the back of the vehicle i think. but should be heaps better than hidden under a layer of metal in the roof

I'd like to get rid of the arial on the quorta panel as well.

So the shark fin types are not the best, ok.
Would the arould the back window work that well on a ute?
I find that I hardly use the radio anyway.

Default Shark fin aerials cause stretchy eyes

HELP!! my eyes r stretching horizontally, must be that shark fin soup aerial I was thinking of. Actually the ones on the the new Corolla's and Yaris's look ok. Even if they are rice inspired and manufactured, they look better than the ones on the qtr panel.

yeah i dont mind them, look pretty stylish i reckon. If its just for looks, definately rice, but if you want it as a working aerial, go for it! I think It'd look cool...
