in dash dvd player

hey i was just wondering what u guys think of this in dash dvd player from ebay. Do you think is worth getting?

I wouldn't expect it to rival a good (pioneer, alpine, etc) in-dash DVD, but for those on a limited budget obviously it's not a bad solution.

It's a double-din solution so you will lost that little tray in there.. may be an issue for some i guess. You can get some nice single din units, but probably looking double the cost (at a starting point).

not bad, it would do the job nicely, thought about a roof mounted one? I mounted mine in the roof where i can view it. Cheaper and not nessessarily more crap

I'm looking at a calais now with one fitted already.. no idea what is in there, it's got a Pioneer logo but doesn't look like any Pioneer I can find :S Ah well.. so long as it works..

hey mate, i have that screen but i didnt get the one with the head unit included. screen is awesome and cheap!

Does it have a brand name ? you have to be carefull with some gear on Ebay, cheap chinese stuff with stuff all warranty if any.

For $350 you should be able to get a brand name unit, with a name at least.
