    Default Fuses Blowing

    i got mi bro to intall mi headunit for me (hes done heaps of installs in early model commodores) and it just keeps blowing the fuse in the back of the head unit anyone ever had this happen before or no y it is doing it

    Either there is something wrong with the head unit or there is a short somewhere.

    Yeah, as above. But if something was wired incorrectly and blew the fuse, the head unit is probably damaged now anyway. Does it smell funny?

    What head unit?

    Don't connect any speaker wires or amp/antenna remote wire or RCA leads. Test it again without anything connected and see if it blows a fuse.
