hi there, i have a old pioneer head unit of some kind in my vn at the moment. its got a cd stacker and all with it. i want to rip them out and take out the factory head unit in my camira and put the old pioneer in the vn in to the camira.
just need some ideas, will it fit straight in or won't the pioneer fit into the camira?
cheers
bump?? anyone??
Should fit.
I believe Camiras may have more room behind the opening than Commodores so should be no problem there.
Most Car stereos have been built using the same height and width dimensions across all brands since the late 70s (someone will correct that if I'm wrong). The length (or depth) can differ.
Double Din units are different as they occupy the same area as two standard sized head units.
Should not be any problem other than a bracket, for it to be mounted in and then attached to your car, may be required if the Camira does not have one already.
Never
