    Default Using stock 10 stacker

    Hi all,

just wondering if anyone would know whether it is possible to use the stock 10 stack with an aftermarket headunit, I have found the wiring diagram pinouts for the din connector for the stacker and in the process of identifying the pin outs on my hu. Question is will it work or not??

    Cheers,

    Steven M

Nope. The 10 stack uses individual clock lines for Tx and Rx so it's essentially two synchronous serial ports. Other manufactures such as Alpine us the old M-Bus, AiNet and whatever they feel like.

If you want to get technical, interested in reverse engineering the Commy bus??

Anyone interested in this at all?

Nope. you can't mix brands between stackers and HU's. to do so requires an FM modulator. you can't direct connect.

Hi. Can you post the wiring diagram pinouts for the din connector ? I am trying to find a cable between the stacker and the head unit (for a Eurovox Maestro) but can't locate one, so am thinking of making up my own.

Also I am looking for one of these stackers. Does anyone have one ofr sale?

    Cheers,
    Julio

You can't have looked to hard for the cable...$20 from the wreckers, why bother making one.

I Know where you can get a six stacker but not sure if they are the same but I would say so as it a HSV one.
