What head unit? Usually it is blue or blue with a white stripe coming from the head unit's loom.

If you have an aftermarket HU (Yes some people do wire up amps off stock HU) you should have a solid blue wire and/or a blue wire with a white stripe coming out of the HU.

Depending on the HU, either the solid blue wire or the blue wire with the white stripe is your remote on wire. If you have got both wires coming out of the HU, one will be for the amp and the other for a motor controlled antenna.

What brand is your HU? Got a manual for the HU? Consult it and it should tell you what wires are coming out of the HU. Some brands like Kenwood for example use Blue/White for the amp and solid Blue for the antenna. Again, consult your manual to figure out what you've got or get back to us on it.

If you've figured out what's the remote wire coming out of the head unit, you'll need a longer piece of wire to run back to the amp. Solder and heatshrink a longer wire to the remote wire coming out of the HU. Then at the amplifier end, connect the wire to the REM ON terminal which should be next to the terminals on the amp for +ve and -ve, usually in between.

Although it shouldn't necessarily matter if the wire is the antenna or the dedicated remote on for use on the amp but I've heard some experiences where a particular HU has both wires and the antenna wire is connected to the amp. The amp would only work if the HU was on radio mode.

If however your HU only has a blue wire and the manual says it's for the antenna, that'll be alright. It should switch the amp on once the HU comes on.
