    $200 pioneer, $200 cadence, $200 calarion, $200 alpine.
    whats the difference? not much.....
why do you want 2 subs?
    ported or sealed enclosier?
dont be concerned about power figures, go buy what sounds better to you.
oh BTW good work! how did one screwdriver go through 2 subs?

yeh.. might go the cadence ones.... one fibreglassed into the left side, one in the right, sealed encl.'s.
i'm kinda movin house atm.. so have everything in my boot, in a mad scramble, almost took out a kangaroo, when i hit the anchors everything pushed a screw driver through a box, into my sub, and on the other side, a pair of long nose plyers went through the other one.. not happy..

    thanks for the ideas!

I'd stick with something safe, like Pioneer or Alpine. The Alpine for better sound quality, the Pioneer for more output.

If you actually like how Cadence sound, then that's too easy. I didn't think you'd heard any of them and were going on looks or other's opinions.

If you actually look at Alpine's prices, you'll see that they are very competitive with Pioneer, Clarion and Kenwood these days. Pioneer's TS-W306C (and old 305C's) are very good value for money subs.
