MP3 decks and mp3 burning.

Hi all I just got my first mp3 deck and am wondering what you guys do with mp3's? Do you put them into folders according to album or just chuck all the tracks on a disk? I just fit 7 albums on a disc which I thought was nice LOL

It probably varies with brands, but with my pioneer I arrange I put each album from an artist in a folder, so its like:
/hilltop hoods/hard road/individual tracks.mp3
/hilltop hoods/the calling/tracks.mp3
/hilltop hoods/left foot right foot/tracks.mp3
/the herd/an elephant never forgets/tracks.mp3

Do you get the idea? That format gives me the best navagating ability; first menu is artists, then next is albums, then next is individual tracks. Harder to explain than i thought!

In short, yes. Put them in folders!!

Yeah, I just do "Artist - Album" for the folders, so all albums from the same artist are near each other. Then call the files "Track Number - Artist - Track Title".

These are good ideas. I will "aquire" some more albums and do something like that.
