Hey everyone,
I've found an old pioneer gm-620 amp that puts out a massive 13w rms x 2, which i wanna whack in my vk to give a bit of extra power to some 6x9s.
However, im having a bit of trouble deciphering the wiring on it. ive got 2 sets of green wires, one with a black stripe, and two sets of grey wires, one with a black stripe. Any ideas on which colour is left and which colour is right speaker?
Also, it has the black ground, 2 rcas, a blue cable and a red cable. I know one is power (guessing red) but not entirely sure. Any help would be appreciated.
13wrms x2? doesnt an average new HU like pioneer put out about 20-25wrms x4? if thats right, id just get a new HU (if you havnt already) and not bother with the amp.
just my 2 cents.
true, but i was hoping to figure out some way to wire it up to get the output from both??

to get the power output from both, you would have to bridge the amp and HU together but im not sure if thats possible.
oh i'll find a way... if not ill just chuck the amp. My h/u is doing ok atm... had the old one racked a few weeks back so I'm stuck with a sony jobbie. But if i can get a power gain, however so minimal, for free... ill take it!
