Talking WOW, love the new amp!

Was waiting @ my local stratfield an hour and a half early to pick up my new baby....(was @ a job interview earlier, finally start a new job after 6 months of Centrelink hoop jumping) ....

heh, just installed the GTO 755.6 Series 2 Amp in the VR, and thanx to all the other members providing the valuable knowledge and experience in car audio. Hooked it all up, no more "accidents" like last time, everything is secured, clean and running like a swiss watch that makes me deaf!

I know by some other people's standards, its not much, but it does me perfectly, a 6ch amp (simplicity for me), running @:
    1x300WRMS @ 14.4V bridged (i know, it less, but u know what i mean) into a Sony 250WRMS 15 Inch SVC 4ohm preboxed sub
4x60WRMS into crappy 6" 50WRMS 3 way no name speakers. Soon to be upgraded to some new splits.

I've decided to run a fuse in the engine bay, and further on, im running a circuit breaker mounted in the kick panel on drivers side, purely as a switch, rather than having to take the fuse out (which i find a bit of a bastard....) that way, theres no worries about heat affecting the circuit breaker, as the fuse near the battery will be doing its job before the circuit breaker does.... and hey, 2 layers of protection is better than one i thought, so went for both.

No headlight dimming, but i'll upgrade the earth straps anyway....

Anyways, just thought i'd sy thanks for all the help, no fires, blown fuses or any of that nasty stuff. I'm off to somewhere deserted to set my gains now!

I'll try and get some pics up when i can if you'd like, nothing spectacular....
