    Angry please help amp problem.

:b: Hey all i own a vt and have installed my alpine stereo system but have come to a glitch. When wiring my amp and sub the amp doesnt seem to work. i have connected the ground, rca, power and remote cable but it doesnt seem to work.

Altho it does work when i split my power wire and connect it to both remote and power inlets on my amp. My power has been connected to the battery and the remote is connected to the back of my deck.

When i connect the power wire to both the remote and power inlets it works perfectlly but of course when i turn my ignition off the amp stays on and im afraid it will drain my battery and kill my amp.

i have checked my remote cable and its not burnt out and is in good condition

My amp is a Alpine MRP-F240
    Deck is Alpine CDM 7874EB
    Sub 12" S type

Any help will be much appreciated

    Hey,

Your remote wire is not working, Do you have a multi-meter to test it?
Or a globe or some sort of light to see if it has power running to it.
It is either not connected properly or the remote output on your deck does not work.
Otherwise if it is getting power at the amp end through the wire the remote input might be stuffed on your amp but i doubt it.

    Cheers

check that you didn't wire it to the antenna remote wire
You put you left foot in, your put your right foot in , you take your left foot out and you slide it all about!
