Eurovox out Panasonic in (i hope)

Just wondering if there is an easy way to take eurovox radio out of VT ,have seen removal tool that looks like a couple of bits of wire is it possible to make something that works or do i have to pull dash apart? any help would be much appreciated

you stick the wire into the little holes on each side of the the unit front and she will pull straight out.

thanks for that can i use any wire or do i hav 2 use proper tool?

It needs to be a proper tool ,or the shape can be replicated. Sorry, I don't know where, but you need to have "curves in all the right places" down the wire (i think). Its one kning i think (lotsa thinking here!!!)

try a coat hanger cut down to size

two lengths of the STIFF coat hanger wire will get it out no probs. bend them in half..shove in the hole till you feel them click. Then lean them towards the outside of the car whilst you pull the unit forwards.

thanks for all the help i had it out in about 15 seconds (the holden dealer did it)
