please help

hey guys, i just put a kenwood kdc-x7529 head unit into my car with a sony explode amp and pioneer sub. now my problem is that the amp is only powering up when the radio is on the head unit, when i flick it over to cd player the light somes off the amp and no sub ( so sub works for radio and not cd's).. can some please tell if there is an option in the head unit thats coursing this?? my mum accidently through out the intructions and box to my head unit and im lost! cant seem to find anything. now ive checked all wiring and rcas at the back of the head unit.. it is all correct.. so im pretty sure thats not the problem with wiring incorrectly.
can someone please help would be appreciated.

is there a REM (remote) wire and a Power Antenna wire or is it just the one. the problem is that on some head units there is no need for the aerial to be up when playing CD's so it brings it down. in this case cutting the remote power to the amp.

from memory there was the remote wire coming out, there was also another 3 cables for telephone mute and wot not. the only wire i connected was the remote wire the others were not needed. i know that the power antenna is not connected.. will this still cut the power even tho its not wired up?
ill have to pull it out and have a closer look.
i also just noticed on the kenwood website that the head unit has a Built In Amp Mute Function.. could this alway be a posibility?

Check that you havnt connected the wrong wire.

What the hell is that? Sounds like a possibility of some sort.

you have wired up the rong wire
eays fixed go back in and use the corect turn on wire
