hey, the pioneer cd player in my VS has never been secured properly... sometimes when i flaw it, inertia pushes the cd player back and it actually comes out of the slot..
how would i go about securing it? there dont seem to be any spots for screws or anything, which would explain why the previous owner didnt secure it.
may also be significant to add that the cd player doesnt fit perfectly - it doesnt occupy all of the width of the slot, so theres a litle gap under it (~1cm)...
any help would be appreciated
there should be two brackets holding it in place. go to wreckers and try to get some or use cental locking backing straps.
go to Complete VN,VP,VR,VS,VQ,VG Headunit Guide [56k warning] for more info about the backing straps.
just called JB Dandenong - they dont have em. I'll have to go visit some wreckers.
cheers
