having a bit of trouble with my cd player. it wont eject the disc when i press the button........ any ideas?????? (already checked the fuses and theyre all fine) your help would be greatly appreciated. cheers

is the cd player giving you any error codes?
yeh there is a disc in it... its either listen to the radio or listen to that disc. its an akai. its only a cheapo, was in the car wen i got it, and dont have the cash to upgrade atm.![]()
what are your skill like with dismantling electronics? if they are good i would open it and get it out. or take it somewhere to get someone to get it out or wait till ya can afford a new one and bust this one open.
i put a screw in the wrong mount hole on my pioneer deck and it stoped the disk from ejectin.. just an idea

Yeah, I see the wrong screw problem all the time... People use screws that weren't supplied with the head unit that are too long and it can cause all sorts of problems.

checked out the HU with all the screws..... no luck think its time to start hittin the boss up for some O/T....
mine did the same what i did was got a rubber handles flathead screwdriver and theres a little latch in where the cd is and i flicked it across and the cd came out pretty easy reall its off to the right or left ull find it with feel if uyrs has one
