G'day all.
i just finished my dvd and screen install and was unclear on one of the laws regarding it.
I know its illegan to have movies going inview of the driver whilst driving, but what about still pictures? Because with the MP3's burnt to a DVD there is a file browser to select songs.
Is it legal to drive with this on? i can't see it being much different to having a naviagtion thing..
oh im in NSW too,
cheers
i will get some pics up soon
heres a quick pic.. still isn't finished but you get the idea.
still need the gear selector and a few other bits
pretty sure you can view things like track listings while driving but im not 100%. your setup looks good tho.
nice work especially with the cup holder and dvd screen
cheers thanks
yeh, i wanted something different then the flip out screen
looks good
dunno where ya are but in sa the laws state ya can only look at a screan if its navigation aid
your not aloud to watch dvds while driving or stills
you are not aloud to have screan visable from outside the car so other drivers can see it and et distracted
so many rules its not funny
and now you got itOriginally Posted by Snotty

You could always buy something that looks like GPS navigation, and swith to that if oyu're pulled up. But i think track lists should be ok, unless you get a prick of a cop
