The last 4 years have all been the same except for the top models.

So the DEH-Px550 to DEH-Px850 are the same except for DEH-P1Y, DEH-P8450MP, 9450MP, 8650MP, 9650MP and th top models this year.

What model do you have and what model do you want to replace it with?

If you buy your unit on ebay be careful. If the unit is an American model the plugs are different from their Australian counterparts.

Sorry, I was mistaken... From about the 5xxx upwards they have a dimmer wire, anything below doesn't, but the plug is the same so if you don't care about that feature you can keep your same loom.

    1850, 2850, 3850, 4850, 5850, 6850, 7850 all have the same plug as the 4650.

I would double check that StoneX. You may be right but I remember having to modify the plug on one to make it fit without the dimmer. It was just a little bit (certainly not much) different.
You put you left foot in, your put your right foot in , you take your left foot out and you slide it all about!

I just tested a non-dimmer loom in a unit with the dimmer function and a dimmer loom with a non-dimmer unit. Both fit, it's the same plug just missing the dimmer wire. I use the non-dimmer loom at my test loom for all models that it fits

well, there you go! Thanks for testing that out Now I'm trying to figure out what I modified!! Perhaps it was a much older unit butI didn't think really changed it.
