If you had to choose between Pioneer or Fusion speakers, what would you choose??

If you wanted a true indication a poll would've been better. And it's all personal opinion (which i assume is what you want), anyway, i'd go with Pioneer, all my speakers are pioneer and they go allright for my needs.

neither but , it would depend on which models.
they make good ones and average models.
the good ones are actually a high end home brand re-labeled and cost about 5k a pair. this is for seperates but you never said if it was subbys or ?

nah! a budget is just a guide line waiting to be broken! i mean really its only an opinion, its not as if he is saying should i go fusion or pioneer, because there is really no way to answer that. its just down to personal preference, and not budget related so like i said.....

Pioneer has new top model speakers coming out soon... They are TS-C171PRS which look like they might be competitive with higher end stuff.

I'd choose Pioneer top end speakers and subs over Fusion stuff.

hey traindriver well it depends on what speakers you want to buy like splits or 6x9's pioneer have a bigger range of speakers but fusion have only a few decent ones, just compare both products that you want and go from there

mate take it the **** easy, EH? who said anything about your social limits? matter of fact what is a social limit? do you feel we are being condecending?
also if you are looking between fusion or pioneer then maybe some of the other brands will be out of your price range? you want to spend $1000 plus on speakers? well i didnt know fusion made any around that, so yes you are saying that your budget is not huge just moderate, like pioneer. they have a good range of prices but not many that are worth a lot of money.
also maybe show a bit of respect to members with over 12 times the amount of posts, eh?

If you want to go out and spend $1000 on a pair of speakers, and you can afford it. But from the sounds of it, you're looking for a decent system without spending too much, and much of the aobvew posted brands wont fit in with what you want. Im not commenting on your social status so go and **** yourself, you can go and spend the money on some speakers due to peoples opinions on brands, rather than how good speakers are

I've started a thread very similar to this not so long ago when i started putting together my stereo system. It was a comparision of whether i should buy pioneer or fusion. The only additional advice i can give here is to go to www.caraudioaustralia.com and look in the for sale section of the forums and chase down some splits that are some of the brands garfa has mentioned or better yet, do a bit of thread searching on there and you'll find heaps of stuff on what brands have the best reputation for sound quality/bang for buck.

Fusion produce ugly subs but some of them do go fairly hard. "it's what's on the inside that counts". As far as speakers go i see Pioneer as your mainstream "safe bet" that everyone likes to choose and Fusion i haven't heard any massive raves about their speakers. I've got FPS-653 Fusion's in the rear and they certainly don't sound shit, but chances are if i read up on www.caraudioaustralia.com first i'd have gone down different alleys speaker wise. You'll find the true sound quality speakers usually come from the brands that aren't very mainstream.

I'd also suggest you seriously consider getting stuff second hand off www.caraudioaustralia.com, alot of people get excellent bargains on there on high end gear which is great if you don't have bottomless pockets. Hope this helps a little, cheers, Bryce.

I love my fusions, but then again, some of the pioneer speakers are okay too.

also keep in mind that good installation is just as important as good equipment for your sound quality system. no idea what budget your on but if you can afford some sound deadener then use it to your advantage. With that said, you can't polish a turd - you won't get excellent sound from really crap speakers with a good install but you could from decent speakers with a good install.

I have now put in fusion 6x9 in the rear and fusion 6 inch splits in the front and now i wouldnt put anything else in they are the best speaker i have had IMHO

    Just my 2 cents

Pioneer if you want a no BS decent system at a good price range. Pionner are a good quality product, never had one fault with them (prob lucky). They are a clear choice for me if it was Pioneer vs JVC/Sony/Cadence/JL Audio/etc...

Fusion are a little more dearer but their equipment is at a very high standard of quality. If you feel that your wallet can resist a little more burning, Fusion all the way. Also no faults with Fusion.

i got pioneer...mainly cos the head unit was in stock that i wanted and they had run out of kenwoods...the pioneer matches the interior better anyway...from there i got all my speakers from pioneer...they are good enough for me, sounds as though both brands are above the line so personal preference sounds like it...
Need some parts for my VH 253:
Green standard steering wheel...Green lower B-pillar covers.
Green sunglasses holder/lower dash bits...Air-con and assorted engine bay parts.
