Sub box questions

Hey guys i am yet again in the process of building a new sub box. Hopefully I get this one right. I want it to last a while, I have made messurments according to the sub specs but I just need to know If you guys would recommend putting sound deadening inside the box? I am not going for SPL I just want the best quality sound.
What you you recommend for me. By the way the box Is not ported and its's for 2 12s

most enclosures iv seen have that foam baffling material (think thats what its called). i would recommend it if going for SQ.

It makes no difference. As long as the box is solid and designed to be the right size, foam and crap in the box is not needed.

There will be people who say there's a difference, but many SQ competitors have tried with and without and could not hear a difference.

What subs? What size (internal volume) box do you have planned?

I have 2 cadence subs, 12 inche and the internal messurments are 0.85 cubic feet.
