Which speakers to power

I have just stumbled across an old 4 chanel amp I had in a previous car. It was quite expensive when I bought it and would like to put it in my current VT II Calais. I was wondering as the Calais has 8 speakers I can't power them all, does some one have some advice on how I should use the amp? ie which speakers should I power. Is it worth putting in an amp with the standard speakers?

8 speakers? sure that the tweeters arent being counted as a speaker? i would reccemend powering the four door speakers

the stock speakers are 15Wrms and the stock h/u is about 15Wrms, pretty well matched huh? you will blow the speakers or the gains will need to be set very low and you will still probably blow the speakers.
best to get some nice splits and some reap speakers. as a rule of thumb i would spend 65% on the front splits and then 35% on the rears of my "speaker" budget.
