Anyone heard of Luxon????

Has anyone ever heard of a brand called Luxon??
dropped into my local strathfield store to check out some sub+amp packages and the salesman said that for low cost 1000watt amp ($500), Luxon wasn't a bad buy?
Does anyone run a Luxon amp??

I wouldnt go trusting what most strathfield salesmen say. Ive never heard of it, but its not on the CAA list of 'fire hazards either'. Id hazard a guess and say that a jaycar would be a better buy
