Talking new displays on pioneer head unit

i was told it might be possibe to convert images or vids to a certain file and upload then onto your head unit so it displays different images or vids instead of the standard waves, flying letters, etc. I have a Pioneer DEH-P7750 and want to know if this is true for my head unit. If anyone knows if it possible and can point me in the direction of doing this, let us know.......

I'm asuming alot of people will want to know about this if its possible....

    Cheers

I think the 7750 is the one i have (99% sure), and I'm pretty sure you cant change the stock videos. It would be cool if I could though, I'll follow this thread!

This is the picture of the head unit...I understand that if you can upload you own vids, or even other vids that it will still play them in blue but even still, it would be pretty wicked.........

Yeah thats the one I have. I remember looking for a way to do this when I first got it. One of the "car audio guys" will know - somehow I still don't think you can though. I usually want to see track names or the time anyway, so the videos done get much use from me. The car race one is pretty cool though

Call Pioneer and ask... Your instruction manual will tell you how to do it, if that model has that option though.

I just checked, only the DEH-P1Y, DEH-P8650MP and DEH-P9650MP from that range have that feature.
