anyway im a fan of jaycar response amps, i had the 4x130wrms powering 2 12" JL w3v2 with no problems at all, well one - just a headache

Well... Subs can have different voice coil configurations, different impedence voice coils (like 2 ohm or 4 ohm). You NEED to know that before even thinking about an amp.

You obviously have certain subs in mind as you have quoted their power rating. What subs?

Hell...if you want good sound...not only are 4 15" subs a complete waste of time...the Sony ones make it all the worse.

For starters, pick a better quality brand, and find out (and give) a bit more info.

you cant be serious, y spend so much money on 4 sony explode subs, y not buy 2 good quilty subs with the money you would have spent and get much better sound!
